How to choose — Poster

A poster display is a finished unit rather than a wall you build: it stands on the floor, plugs into a socket and is updated from a phone or a PC. The choice is mostly about where it stands and how it travels.

  • Indoor or outdoor. The outdoor version is sealed and brighter; indoors that brightness is simply wasted.
  • How it travels. The folding units flat-pack for transport, which is what makes them workable for roadshows and pop-ups rather than fixed retail only.
  • Viewing distance. These are read from a metre or two away in a lobby or a shop, so the pitch matters more than it would on a wall seen from across a plaza.
  • Content workflow. Decide who updates it and from what. Publishing from a phone is a different habit from scheduling a fleet from a PC.
